Over the past month or so I have been letting Milly come into our bed when she wakes up in the middle of night for no other reason than because I was being lazy and couldn’t be bothered continuously getting in and out of bed.
I also worry that when she is tantruming she will wake the neighbor’s up and they will think I’m torturing her or something lol honestly that’s what it sounds like and she has some good lungs Trust me!! I blame the steroids the Dr gave me when I was pregnant!
That’s not actually a scientific fact it’s a Hannah fact which means probably not true but feels true! 🤣
So I decided last night that from tonight onwards I will have to be firmer and start doing the sleep training with her again everytime she wakes up and hopefully she will get back into sleeping the whole night in her bed and then we will move and have to start all over again💁♀️🤦♀️ but that is just one of those things you have to do as a parent!
I know that they say don’t let them sleep in your bed blah blah blah but this is usually coming from an “expert” who has never had a child in their life and who has no clue how exhausting parenting is and sometimes you just need to allow yourself to sleep and if that means letting your three year old into your bed then so be it!
I am not saying it’s going to be easy on any of us but it needs to be done so I’m going to have to be mean mummy for a few days until she starts sleeping in her bed for the whole night again like she used to.
So that is all on this for now I will update you within a week and let you know how I get on with being mean mummy 🤣 wish me luck!!
