We got a new car from Motor GURUS!

I can’t believe I haven’t already told you this but with the money we was kindly given on our wedding day we put towards a new car because as you know our old car was literally dying a painful death so before Christmas we sold it to Motor hog and that went as smoothly as it could of. I would recommend using them for a quick and fair price if your car is not working or barely working.

Our old car

After our wedding Lee was looking online for different cars and after a few days he came across this Vauxhal Astra which had only done 48,000 miles , was a 2011 plate and looked in really good condition so we knew it would go fast.

So Lee rang the car garage MOTOR GURUS to see if it was still available and it was so we asked everyone and anyone to take us to go see it and in the end Lee’s brother took us and although by the time we got there it was dark not because it was massively late just because it’s winter.

When we arrived they got the car out for us to look at. Well lee and his brother as I wouldn’t have a clue what I was looking at. I just liked the fact I had a heated seat and a cup holder (I’m easily pleased). They let us take it on a test drive and a staff member didn’t even come with us but he was so nice he asked us all if we wanted to test drive it but only Lee did in the end.

After the test drive we decided we wanted the car and we only has to put down a £100 deposit which I was really surprised at as usually it is about 25% of the final price. The car did have a few scratches on the back but as a used car you have to expect that but my brother in law, a.k.a the words best negotiator got them to buff it out for us, give us a full tank of desiel and deliver it to us all included in the price. (He is available to negotiate for you for a price obviously 🤣🤣 )

Even tho I think the MOT had a few months on it they still MOT’d it and serviced it so that is now done for the year. They do this for all their cars not just ours and they also come with a 3 month guarantee and are also AA recommended which I’m not surprised at as all the cars looked in really condition and the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

So as promised three days after we put our deposit down our car was delivered to us. Although we didn’t have the V5 the guy sorted that and sent off a different form that you usually have to pay £25 for at the post office and taxed the car for us whilst he was their and then we sent him the money for the tax. They did all this within an hour of us having the car. We were very impressed.

I think we had had the car about two weeks and we had a coolant leak. We don’t know how it happened it just did and of course this stressed us out but we contacted Sammy at MOTOR GURUS and was asked to drop it off so they could fix it. I didn’t go to drop off car on Saturday but lee and my dad did and Lee said that they were incredibly apologetic and to be fair they had it fixed on Monday which wasn’t bad to say they close on Sunday’s and was available to collect on the same day. So my mum kindly took us to go and collect the car.

The only thing I would say is that they really should have stayed open until we had collected the car as it was in opening hours instead of leaving the keys behind a flower pot and maybe telling us where the car was parked but that was just a minor thing.

If you are looking for a Used car that are good quality and not overpriced I would Highly recommend you take a trip to MOTOR GURUS
